It has been amazing, I get to experience things I haven’t experienced before. This has been workplace training compared to a training centre. I used to weld small pieces of metal, however I have had the opportunity to weld stainless steel. I have also learnt to communicate better as I used to struggle with that.

My experience has been great so far. I feel I’ve grown to be more responsible and gained the ability to work with teams. I learnt that teamwork requires communication. The project we worked on was challenging since we hadn’t handled one that big before, but it was a valuable and knowledgeable experience.

Safety rules were a big challenge for me in terms of making them applicable to myself. I needed to be self-aware and pay attention at all times. My experience has been amazing, I have learnt so much and I am grateful for this opportunity.

It has been transformative, educational and great. I have learnt how to communicate better, my confidence and my abilities have improved in a short amount of time. This journey has truly been valuable.
